Full job description
A ten-week summer internship in Zurich's General Insurance actuarial team, starting in June 2027, based at London, Farnborough, Birmingham or Whiteley. Interns get an introduction to actuarial reserving (predicting future claims costs) or pricing (setting insurance prices from risk and customer data), work with qualified actuaries and receive a buddy before they start. Applicants must be in their penultimate year and on course for a 2:1 or better in a STEM or Economics degree, with an A in A-level Maths, 128 UCAS points and GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C. Pay is pro rata on 24,968.58 pounds, plus a contribution to private medical cover. Applications close on 18 October 2026.
