Weightmans' six-year solicitor degree apprenticeship leads to a level 7 award, an LLB and the SQE, studied with BPP one day a week while working four days in its legal teams, with placements of six to twelve months. Pay starts at 24,479 pounds (26,936 in London) and reaches 31,000 pounds (38,000 in London) by the final year. Under the 2026 funding rules applicants must be aged 16 to 21, or under 25 and a care leaver or hold an EHCP, with about 120 UCAS points and five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths and English.
