Full job description
Wedlake Bell recruits eight trainees a year, two years ahead of the start date, and this round is for the 2029 intake. Applications open on 1 November 2026 and close on 3 May 2027 at 23:59, through an online form with motivation and skills questions. Trainees complete four six-month seats and are backed by a mentor, a buddy and a dedicated supervisor in each seat. The firm pays SQE preparation and exam costs with a 10,000 pound maintenance grant, and non-law graduates get PGDL fees and a grant. Applicants need an expected 2:1, with first-stage interviews virtual in July 2027 and final interviews in person. No visa statement was found.
