Full job description
Vinson & Elkins runs a one-week vacation placement in its London office where candidates share a room with an associate or partner and try client-led tasks such as research, drafting, internal strategy discussions and client calls. It is the only route to a training contract at the firm, which offers four to six trainee places starting each September. The firm says applications for the 2027 spring and summer schemes will open in autumn 2026, and no exact dates have been published. Applicants should be at least in the penultimate year of their degree, with AAB at A-level or equivalent and 60 percent or above in first-year modules, or a 2:1 for graduates. Trainee pay is quoted as 60,000 pounds in year one and 65,000 in year two as of 2024. The page gives no visa statement.
