Your role Interested in working financial services, specifically learning about global market trends, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint? Do you thrive on intellectual challenges and take pride in building robust, well-designed solutions? We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2027 Quant Off-Cycle Internship Program. You'll get to: - Research, test, and implement derivatives, optimization, inventory prediction models and tools to support a wide range of business needs - Collaborate closely with trading desks and control functions to provide quantitative and modelling support - Work with other Front Office stakeholders such as Trading, Structuring and Sales to enhance pricing capabilities - Ensure that applications and models are tested to high and strategic standards. Your team You'll be working in our Quant business. We work across asset classes, including Equities, Interest rates, FX, and Credit, and cover delta-one, flow, exotics, Financing and QIS products as well as providing exposure models, analytics and tools to traders and risk managers globally covering traditional XVAs and Capital measures. Our team partners closely with trading, technology, and control functions to deliver high-impact solutions. Your expertise We're looking for a candidate who: - is in their penultimate or final year of their degree, or who has recently graduated within six months of starting the internship - has or is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate degree - has a strong academic background in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, science, engineering) - has academic familiarity with quantitative finance, derivatives modelling, pricing or Machine Learning techniques - is familiar with financial markets and products - has clear and effective communication skills, especially when explaining complex ideas - has strong programming and algorithmic skills - can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency. Your program The program is 6 months in length starting in April through to September. During your paid internship, you'll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
