Full job description
As part of the Fixed Income Pricing Team, you will directly support the Fixed Income Trading Desk. The Fixed Income Pricing team creates fair values, manages primary market trading and identifies profitable trading opportunities, driving improvements for the desk across Operations, Technology and Trading teams. Responsibilities: provide live Fixed Income pricing from portfolio composition files and NAVs using proprietary trading tools; research and advise on index methodology and impactful corporate actions; manage and maintain primary market infrastructure; support internal sales and trading teams on Fixed Income trading; maintain relationships with external Fixed Income Capital Markets teams and brokers; develop new applications, primarily in pricing and trading, using Python and SQL. What we're looking for: programming experience in Python; high proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (SQL an advantage); knowledge of and strong interest in financial markets; ambitious and self-motivated; attention to detail and good organisation; strong communicator; ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
