Your role Stripe is large enough that individual products and projects can be rapidly deployed to a meaningful fraction of the world's businesses, but small enough that individual agency still has outsized impact. The global economy is replatforming around AI, creating new opportunities for growth, and Stripe is at the center of this. Who you are Ambitious builder, rigorous thinker, and adaptable problem solver. Minimum requirements: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a directly related field, obtained by summer 2027, or equivalent work experience; new grad candidates should have no more than 18 months of professional experience (excluding internship experience) - Experience and familiarity with programming (Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, Go) - Experience from either previous internships or working collaboratively on multi-person coding projects - Ability to learn unfamiliar systems - Clear written communication skills - Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate development while applying rigorous critical thinking Preferred qualifications: - One or more areas of specialized knowledge - Experience in code review practices - Familiarity with navigating and managing work in large code bases - Experience leading small projects independently - Ability to operate with high agency in navigating complex technical obstacles independently In-office expectations: Office-assigned Stripes in most locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office. Pay and benefits: The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is £60,000 - £90,000.
