Full job description

A ten-week Global Banking Summer Internship with Standard Chartered in New York, starting June 2027. Global Banking provides credit, bond, structured-credit and advisory solutions to corporate and financial-institution clients worldwide, and interns are matched to a specialist team based on their skills and interests - potential areas include Capital Markets, Commercial Real Estate, Financing Solutions, Fund Finance, Infrastructure Development & Finance Group, Leveraged & Acquisition Finance and Private Credit, or Transportation Finance. The programme runs a structured induction, real projects and meaningful responsibilities from day one, technical and behavioural skills development, mentoring, and exposure to senior leaders, with many interns progressing to a graduate role. It welcomes students from all degree disciplines who are in their penultimate year, able to intern in June 2027 and start full-time in July 2028, with the permanent legal right to work in the US (this US posting does not indicate visa sponsorship for candidates without existing work authorisation). Applications run 6 July to 31 December 2026, with assessment centres from October 2026; candidates may only submit one Standard Chartered application within a six-month period.
