Full job description
A ten-week Global Banking Summer Internship with Standard Chartered in France, starting June 2027. You would be matched to one of three coverage areas: Corporate Coverage, working with multinational and mid-market clients; Financial Institutions Coverage, serving banks and asset managers; or M&A, supporting transaction analysis and deal execution. Global Banking at Standard Chartered provides credit and advisory solutions - spanning loans, bonds, structured credit and advisory work - to corporate and financial-institution clients worldwide. The programme includes a structured induction, real projects and responsibilities from day one, technical and behavioural skills training, support from managers and mentors, and exposure to senior leaders, with strong performers positioned for a graduate offer. It's open to students of any degree discipline in their penultimate year, able to intern in June 2027 and start full-time in July 2028, who hold the permanent legal right to work in France (no visa sponsorship indicated for this market). Applications run 17 August to 31 December 2026, with assessment centres from October 2026; candidates may only submit one Standard Chartered application within a six-month period.
