Global Banking and Advisory 2027 Summer Internship (8 Weeks)

Full job description

An eight-week Global Banking & Advisory Summer Internship at Societe Generale's London office in Canary Wharf. You'll join a business area that could include Investment Banking Industries, Debt Capital Markets, Energy, Infrastructure, or Syndication and Coverage, offering tailor-made M&A, debt, equity and capital-structure advisory to corporates, financial institutions and the public sector. The eight weeks include face-to-face interactions across the department, administrative support within front-office revenue-generating teams, involvement in live ad-hoc projects, and shadowing colleagues to understand how the business works, alongside core and optional learning sessions, networking events, and a group project presented at the end of the summer. Completing the internship is a route to Societe Generale's Graduate Programme starting in 2028. It's open to penultimate-year undergraduate or postgraduate students on track for a 2:1 or equivalent, with strong written and verbal communication, solid or developing Excel/financial-modelling skills, and an interest in financial-services regulation and compliance. Applications run 7 September - 25 October 2026, followed by online assessments, a one-way video interview, a virtual assessment centre in January 2027, and final interviews in January/February 2027.
