Full job description
Simmons & Simmons is recruiting solicitor apprentices for a September 2027 start in Bristol, on a six-year programme of four working days a week and one day studying with BPP University, first for an LLB and then the SQE. Apprentices begin with three months in business services, then spend 15 months in each of three practice groups, and rotate through four groups for six months each in the final two years. The starting salary is 29,000 pounds with a 1,500 pound starting bonus, and the firm pays all tuition and exam fees. School and college leavers need GCSEs at grade 4 or above with at least a 6 in Maths and English, and ABB at A-Level or equivalent. Applications open on 1 December 2026 and close on 5 February 2027. The apprenticeship page gives no visa statement, while the firm's FAQ says right to work is required for its schemes.
