Full job description

This is a permanent graduate role starting in September 2027 as a Graduate Planner within Savills' UK planning department, preparing planning appraisals, research, planning applications and design, access and sustainability statements while working towards RTPI chartered membership through a two-year training programme. Pay is £30,000 plus a £1,500 sign-on bonus in London, or £27,000 plus £1,000 in the regions (some regions pay the higher figure), and the contract is permanent rather than a two-year training contract, with training and APC costs covered. Locations on offer are London, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Reading, Oxford, Southampton. Applications close at 11.59pm on 19 October 2026 (Savills may close earlier), after a CV-and-question application followed by an SHL online assessment due by noon on 20 October 2026. Screening calls are 10 to 12 November 2026 and the assessment centre and panel interview take place on 7 and 8 January 2027 in London.
