Full job description
This is Saffery's School Leaver Programme trainee role in Audit at its Leeds office, starting in September 2027 and lasting four years while working towards the ACA qualification. Trainees work through the stages of an audit from planning to completion, testing financial information, reviewing controls and preparing working papers for clients across many sectors, both in the office and on client sites, supported by mentoring and off-site trainee programmes, including a six-week business simulation designed with Kaplan. The entry bar is 120 UCAS points from your top three A-levels or Highers (or equivalent) and a 6 (or B) in GCSE or National 5 Maths and English Language; AAT-qualified applicants are welcome. Applications for this intake are open from 14 September to 4 October 2026, and the firm warns that roles can close early because of demand.
