Full job description
RWE Supply & Trading is offering a year-long industrial placement in its London risk function starting in July 2027, paid at 31,500 pounds. Placement students choose between Risk Controlling, where they analyse trading desks' profit and loss, strategies and market risks and brief senior stakeholders, and Regulatory Risk & Projects, where they use data analytics and modelling of market data to build common methods and standard processes across the department. Candidates should be in the penultimate year of an analytical, numerical or business-focused degree such as maths, physics, engineering, computer science, business or economics, ideally heading for a 2:1 or above, with IT skills (SQL, Python or Tableau helpful) and comfort with AI-enabled productivity tools. A buddy and behavioural skills training are provided and the placement can lead to a graduate programme place.
