Russell-Cooke offers training contracts starting in 2029 in London, with trainees completing four seats that must include at least one contentious and one non-contentious area, drawn from options such as charity law, corporate, family, private client and property litigation. The firm takes on around eight to twelve trainees a year, mostly starting in September, and the graduate recruitment page says ten vacancies are offered for the 2029 intake. Applications open on 4 November 2026 and close on 3 February 2027. A first-year salary of 46,000 pounds and 48,500 in year two is quoted as of 2025, and the FAQ says capped SQE sponsorship of up to 10,000 pounds plus a 5,000 pound interest-free loan is available, but the PGDL is not sponsored.
