Full job description
Reed Smith's 2027 vacation schemes take place in winter and spring, with dates still to be confirmed, and pay a weekly wage in line with the London Living Wage plus a travel and accommodation grant for those outside London. Students sit with a supervisor in a chosen practice or industry group, work on live projects, have a trainee buddy, and attend skills workshops before a final interview. Applications opened on 7 September 2026 and close at 5pm on 18 December 2026, and are considered on a rolling basis. Candidates apply from the penultimate year of a non-law degree or the final year of a law degree onwards. The firm's FAQ says it can provide visa sponsorship for successful candidates on both the vacation schemes and training contracts.
