Full job description
This two-week paid vacation placement runs from 28 June to 9 July 2027 in the Birmingham office, giving experience in one practice area with a supervisor and buddy, and successful students are automatically considered for a training contract starting in September 2029. Pay is 476 pounds a week. Applications opened on 15 September 2026 and close on 2 December 2026 at 12pm, followed by an online blended assessment and an in-person assessment centre between January and February 2027. Applicants need ABB at A-Level, a 2:1 predicted or achieved and to be in at least the penultimate year of a law degree or final year of a non-law degree, or already graduated; first-year students are not eligible. The firm says it is not able to offer skilled worker sponsorship for this programme in its Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds offices.
