Full job description
A 10-week Summer Internship in Investment at Oaktree Capital Management, running mid-June to mid-August 2027, based in Los Angeles except where a group specifically hires in New York. This is an umbrella posting covering several investment strategies hiring in this first recruiting wave, including Global Opportunities (Oaktree's flagship all-weather strategy investing across the capital structure in distressed debt, reorganizations and special situations, seeking 2029-grad interns in LA), Global Private Debt (traded and non-traded U.S. and non-U.S. credit, from high-yield bonds and senior loans to direct lending, seeking 2028 or 2029-grad interns in LA and/or New York), and Real Estate Equity (global real estate investments spanning direct property, real estate-related corporations, CMBS and non-U.S. opportunities). Oaktree runs two recruiting waves for this cycle - September to October, then December to January - and candidates can submit up to three applications per wave. This first wave's applications close 21 September 2026.
