Full job description
A Graduate Prosthetist role at Steeper Group in Portsmouth - one of the UK's largest suppliers of orthotic, prosthetic and assistive technology products. You would design, fabricate and fit artificial limbs for patients who have experienced limb loss through congenital conditions, amputation or injury, assessing patient needs, working with technicians on custom-fit devices, and providing follow-up care. A BSc Hons in Prosthetics and Orthotics (or equivalent) is required to qualify for HCPC registration; HCPC registration and clinical experience, including lower or upper limb prosthetics prescribing, are desirable but not essential.
