Full job description

A ten-week summer internship in either Mizuho's Risk Management Department or its Europe Credit Department in London, starting in June 2027. Risk Management independently assesses risks across trading and origination and the associated revenue, while Europe Credit monitors the loan book across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and approves lending facilities. Interns receive focused training and exposure to real deals and learn different risk disciplines. Applicants must be in the penultimate year of study, expecting to graduate in 2028, be free to start the ten-week programme in June 2027 and be available for full-time work from September 2028. Candidates should be highly numerate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the advert adds that permanent UK right to work is required. The 2027 programme is run in London with Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB) handling online testing and video interview, followed by an assessment centre in the first week of December.
