Full job description

A ten-week rotation through Mizuho's Finance Department in London, starting in June 2027. Interns spend time in areas such as financial control (published accounts and management reporting), product control, regulatory capital and liquidity reporting, tax, and procurement and accounts payable. It offers a broad view of how finance supports a global investment bank, with a buddy and a graduate-programme pathway. Applicants must be in the penultimate year of study, expecting to graduate in 2028, be free to start the ten-week programme in June 2027 and be available for full-time work from September 2028. Accounting or regulatory knowledge is an advantage but not essential. The 2027 programme is run in London with Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB) handling online testing and video interview, followed by an assessment centre in the first week of December. The advert states that sponsorship cannot be offered, and Mizuho's internship page says applicants need the permanent right to work in the UK; pay is described only as competitive and in line with other London corporate and investment banks, and the listing closes on 5 October 2026 (it may close earlier).
