Full job description

A ten-week summer internship in one of Mizuho's Banking teams in London, starting in June 2027. Interns research companies, industries and markets, help with financial, credit and business analysis, prepare client presentations and marketing material, contribute to financing, advisory and capital markets deals, and support portfolio monitoring and strategic projects. A structured learning curriculum, a buddy and a direct route to the graduate programme are offered. Applicants must be in the penultimate year of study, expecting to graduate in 2028, be free to start the ten-week programme in June 2027 and be available for full-time work from September 2028. The 2027 programme is run in London with Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB) handling online testing and video interview, followed by an assessment centre in the first week of December. The advert states that sponsorship cannot be offered, and Mizuho's internship page says applicants need the permanent right to work in the UK; pay is described only as competitive and in line with other London corporate and investment banks, and the listing closes on 5 October 2026 (it may close earlier).
