Join Marshall Wace for the summer and experience first-hand what it means to be a member of the technology team that powers one of the world's largest hedge funds. Interns are given projects that provide real-world engineering experience across systematic and fundamental investment strategies, firmwide technology platforms, trading and order execution, and AI-powered automation. Prior to the start of the internship, tech teams propose potential projects; interns are assigned to selected projects in pairs, reporting to a senior engineer, with comprehensive support including mentorship, seminars, and social events. Examples of past projects: a backtesting framework for the quantitative trading system; horizontally distributed autonomous coding agents; an AI-driven user behaviour analytics platform. What we're looking for: high-achieving academically with actively developed technical, software engineering skills (not necessarily a computer science degree).
