Full job description
Macfarlanes is taking applications until 30 October 2026 for two-week spring vacation schemes at its London office, running 30 March to 9 April 2027 and 12 to 23 April 2027; applications opened on 1 September 2026. Students sit with two practice groups under an associate supervisor, join a mock deal negotiation, and attend sessions on practice areas, business development, lawtech and inclusion, earning 525 pounds a week. It is open to penultimate-year and final-year undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates from any degree. Selection has two online assessments, an in-person written exercise and an in-person interview. Participants must have the right to work in the UK, though international students on a student visa may take part only if the dates fall outside term time.
