Two-week vacation scheme, Spring (5-16 April 2027) or Summer (21 June-2 July 2027), London. Latham hires exclusively through vacation schemes (no direct training contract). Latham cannot sponsor visas for vacation scheme attendees, only for trainees. Deadline 6 December 2026.
Full job description
Our two week spring and summer vacation schemes offer you the perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door at Latham and for us to get to know each other. These schemes allow you to engage in real, client-facing work alongside your peers, providing a taste of life as a trainee lawyer. You'll work closely with experienced lawyers, helping you to start thinking about the kind of lawyer you want to be. Upon completion, you'll have the chance to interview for a training contract. Eligibility: minimum AAB at A-level (or equivalent) and a 2:1 or above in your undergraduate degree. All students in their second year and beyond, regardless of degree type or length, should apply. Non-law students welcome (around 40% of trainees are non-law, completing the PGDL). Visa note: "We are able to sponsor visas for our trainees, but we are unable to sponsor visas for vacation scheme attendees, so you should only apply to our vacation scheme if you have the right to work in the UK." If you hold a student visa, check your term times and provide a letter from your university confirming them. Pay: £500/week. Dates: Spring 5-16 April 2027; Summer 21 June-2 July 2027. Latham hires exclusively through vacation schemes; there is no direct training contract application route.
