Full job description

This is the Business Services Group stream of Irwin Mitchell's training contract, covering areas such as banking and finance, corporate, commercial, construction, employment and real estate, with four seats in line with business need. Roles for a 2028 start are available in Birmingham, Brighton/Gatwick, Leeds, London and Manchester, with SQE study to be completed in 2027. Applicants must be law or non-law graduates, final-year law undergraduates, or non-law graduates doing or having completed the PGDL. The application window runs from Monday 12 October to Tuesday 1 December, and the process starts with a short registration form and a strengths-based online assessment with video questions, then an in-person assessment centre in February and March and a one-day in-person insight day in place of a vacation scheme. Salaries listed are 44,000 pounds in London and 32,000 regionally in year one, and the firm pays SQE or PGDL fees with a 1,000 pound monthly maintenance grant for eligible candidates who have not yet started their courses.
