Full job description

Howden Re's Actuarial team hosts this 10-week London summer internship starting June 2027 (pay is £32,500 pro rata). Interns analyse large datasets, learn how reinsurance risk is priced and transferred, help build actuarial models and simulations, prepare client reports and take part in RFP work, with a stated pathway into the autumn 2028 graduate roles subject to business needs and performance. You need to be in your penultimate year of a numerate degree such as maths, statistics, physics, natural sciences, engineering or economics, with an A grade or above in A-level Maths or equivalent. The route to an offer is an online form with no CV needed, a gamified assessment, a recorded video interview and an in-person assessment centre with travel costs covered.
