As a Real Estate Summer Analyst Intern with Hines, you will: gain hands-on experience by working with an assigned team specializing in specific functions within Commercial Real Estate Investment Management and/or Development; assist with the underwriting and lease analysis of new projects and asset management of operating properties; provide research support and assistance by gathering data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market, and new developments, inputting data into appropriate databases; take on possible assignments including new development projects, acquisitions and dispositions, and asset management; work on Hines's top-quality assets with daily exposure to highly seasoned real estate professionals; contribute meaningfully to processes and decisions that impact Hines' world-renowned properties through market research, due diligence, financial analysis, and other responsibilities. Minimum Requirements: students from any academic discipline will be considered, though a strong math and quantitative aptitude is required; proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; Argus experience a plus but not required; creative problem solving ability; ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects; current second-year and third-year students will be considered, along with final-year students immediately entering a graduate program.
