Glencore's London energy trading business is recruiting recent and soon-to-graduate candidates for its Commercial Graduate Programme, which prepares people for a seat on a trading desk. Graduates give front-line support to traders in risk management, analytics, chartering or operations, with the chance to rotate between them and to gain exposure to the physical assets side of the business. Applicants need, or be predicted for 2027, a 2:1 or above in STEM, finance, economics or a similar subject, plus demonstrated interest in commodities through finance, energy or oil experience; another language is a bonus. Applications close on 9 October 2026 and are assessed on a rolling basis, so early applicants may hear sooner. The advert says the successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK by the start date and does not mention visa sponsorship.
