Full job description

Glencore is hiring graduate trading analysts in London for its energy commodities division. Analysts work directly with traders, using data to guide commercial strategy: modelling supply, demand and trade flows, tracking oil cargoes through vessel data, building forecasting tools on the trading floor, spotting market anomalies and presenting findings to traders and senior management, while also working with the shipping and technology teams. The firm wants a 2:1 or above in mathematics, computer science, engineering or similar, either achieved or predicted for 2027, with relevant energy or oil experience, strong Excel and quantitative skills, and ideally VBA, Python or SQL.
