Full job description
Accelerate is a one-week paid internship in the Belfast office in June for first-year law students in Northern Ireland who face extra barriers to entering the profession. It includes office life, real client work, skills workshops and networking, and can fast-track participants to the Aspire Vacation Scheme. Participants receive regular check-ins and mentoring plus 500 pounds at the start of their second year and another 500 at the start of their third, with no repayment. To apply you must be a first-year undergraduate law student meeting at least one widening-access criterion, such as free school meals eligibility, being a main carer, coming from a disadvantaged neighbourhood, being a refugee or asylum seeker, being care experienced, or Traveller, Romani or Roma heritage. Applications open in January 2027 and no closing date has been published; there is no visa statement.
