Full job description
A two-year nuclear graduate programme based at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, expected to start in September 2027 with a salary of 37,500 pounds. Graduates complete STEM placements across commissioning, pre-operations and technical teams, touching engineering, chemistry, environment, reactor operations, emergency preparedness, radiological protection and nuclear safety, working on site at least three days a week. A bachelor's or postgraduate STEM degree is needed, and degrees showing strong analytical ability such as psychology, economics or geography are also considered. Appointment requires meeting security vetting criteria, which usually means living in the UK for at least three of the past five years. The online assessment centre is on 25 and 26 November 2026. Applications are due to close on 1 October (2026), though EDF says it may close earlier because of volumes.
