Full job description
A Venture Capital Analyst Internship at DRW in Chicago, targeted for Summer 2027, within DRW Venture Capital - a private investor in financial and enterprise technology that engages portfolio companies as a client, liquidity provider, and product reviewer beyond just providing capital. Interns collaborate with the investment team to research investment opportunities from early stage to growth, underwrite and evaluate investments on risk/return, assist with deal structuring and term-sheet evaluation (including modeling deal economics in Excel), prepare discounted cash flow and competitive-market analyses, join meetings with portfolio and pipeline company management, and help prepare pitch decks. DRW is looking for a Bachelor's degree candidate in finance, business administration, economics, accounting or liberal arts graduating between December 2027 and June 2028, with a minimum 3.5 GPA, strong curiosity about business models and innovation, an interest in areas like fintech, cryptocurrency and capital-markets infrastructure, and solid PowerPoint/Excel skills. DRW states work authorization in the United States is required without the need for sponsorship.
