Full job description
Debevoise recruits for its London spring and summer vacation schemes through open days, normally held in February and/or March, to which up to 100 applicants are invited for a short interview, a mentor-led office visit and a networking lunch. Successful candidates are told around the end of March and complete a two-week placement in litigation, arbitration, corporate or tax, with a team project, a mooting competition and practice group meetings. About 54 places are offered each year. Applications opened on 17 September 2026 and close at 23:59 on 4 January 2027. Applicants should be penultimate- or final-year law undergraduates, final-year non-law students, or graduates and postgraduates, expecting at least a 2:1 and holding 144 UCAS points at A-level or equivalent. The firm states it does not provide visa sponsorship for vacation scheme candidates, though it will sponsor a successful trainee.
