Full job description
CMS's six-year Solicitor Apprenticeship enrols apprentices on an LLB in Legal Practice and Skills at the University of Law, followed by the SQE, with one day a week for study and four days working at the firm and no tuition or SQE fees to pay. Starting salaries listed are 30,000 pounds in London, 28,000 in Bristol and 26,000 in the One North offices, with 25 days of paid holiday. School and college leavers need five GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above and three A-levels at grade C or above, and career changers meeting these criteria may apply. Selection stages are an online form, a critical thinking test, a video interview and further interview stages. The page says applications open in 2027 and still refers to London and Sheffield positions for 2026, so the 2027 offices and dates are not confirmed. The firm's FAQ says it cannot provide visa sponsorship for this programme.
