Full job description

This is a one-week paid placement in the London, Cheltenham or Guildford office, with applicants choosing a single office. Each week is spent in a different practice area on real fee-earning work that can include client meetings and court, supported by a trainee buddy and an associate supervisor. Participants are automatically considered for a training contract and take an assessment centre as part of the week. Pay is 518 pounds a week in London and 471 pounds in Cheltenham and Guildford. Eligible applicants are in the penultimate or final year of a law degree, the final year of a non-law degree, or already graduated. Applications open on 1 October 2026 and close at midday on 15 January 2027, with no rolling recruitment and no late applications. The scheme page gives no visa statement.
