Full job description
BCLP offers two two-week vacation schemes at its London office, each with around 15 students, running 30 March to 9 April 2027 and 12 to 23 April 2027. Participants work on live matters, from research and client meetings to court runs and presentations, and attend partner-led talks and lunches. Applications for both schemes open on 13 October 2026 and close on 4 January 2027. Eligibility covers second and third-year law students, third-year non-law students, and graduates or postgraduates of any discipline. Selection runs through an application form, a bespoke strengths-based online test, a first interview with two associates or recruiters and a final partner-led assessment centre. Anyone rejected at the vacation scheme stage cannot apply for a direct training contract in the same cycle, and the pages say nothing about pay or visas.
