Full job description
BCLP is recruiting trainees for its London office under the label London Training Contract 2028/29, with applications opening on 13 October 2026 and closing on 31 May 2027. The two-year contract has four six-month seats, with the option of a real estate or financial services focus or a more general path, and secondments to clients are available. Applicants should be at least in the penultimate year of a law degree or the final year of a non-law degree, or already graduated, and there is no minimum grade requirement. The process involves an application form, a bespoke online test, a first-stage interview and a partner assessment centre. The firm says it has 20 training contract places across London and Manchester and pays SQE and PGDL fees plus a maintenance grant of 20,300 pounds a year (18,300 for regional or online study). Note that the linked application portal still carries older 2027/28 wording, and no visa statement was found.
