Full job description
Broadfield is recruiting trainee solicitors for a September 2028 start in Southampton, one year ahead so that future trainees can finish their SQE exams first. The two-year contract has four six-month seats across areas such as real estate, litigation, energy, private wealth, corporate and employment, with optional client secondments. Candidates who have not yet taken the SQE will have the year-long University of Law LLM Legal Practice (SQE1 and 2) funded by the firm. Applicants should have completed, or complete before September 2027, an LLB, GDL/PGDL, LPC/LLM or SQE1 (or 1 and 2), and the firm typically looks for a 2:1 but weighs mitigating circumstances.
