Full job description
A Summer Internship on Brevan Howard's Venture Capital team in New York, part of a global macro hedge fund known for systematic and discretionary investment processes built on rigorous data analysis. The program opens with a week of intensive training covering macroeconomics, FX, digital assets, interest rate derivatives, bonds, credit, trading strategies, risk management, Excel and Python, and current AI tools. Interns then contribute to the Venture Capital team on projects such as researching emerging technologies (fusion, quantum computing, AI, space), running due diligence on startups, mapping industry segments, and doing financial analysis on deals to identify investment prospects, alongside talks, a mentor program and social events. Brevan Howard is looking for a penultimate-year undergraduate or first-year master's/PhD student completing their degree before July 2028, with a demonstrated interest in technology and startups, strong research and data-analysis skills, prior relevant experience (internships, research, startups, or financial institutions), Excel proficiency, and strong English communication.
