Bird & Bird offers a free, self-paced online work experience programme in partnership with Forage, taking about seven to eight hours to complete on a laptop, PC or tablet. It shows what a solicitor at an international law firm does, and finishers earn a certificate plus a recruiter-approved guide on presenting the experience in applications. The firm says 70 percent of its future trainees have completed it and that Forage applicants are far more likely to receive an offer. It is open to everyone with no entry requirements or prior legal experience needed. No closing date or visa statement is given.
