Full job description
Bird & Bird will host a two-week summer vacation scheme in London from 14 to 25 June 2027, combining hands-on legal tasks with training sessions and social events. Everyone on the scheme is considered for a training contract beginning in September 2029 or sooner, and this is the only route into that cohort. The firm offers up to 40 places across its spring and summer schemes. Applications open on 5 October 2026 and close on 11 December 2026, with applications reviewed as they arrive. Candidates need AAB at A-level and a 2:1 or equivalent, and must be in their penultimate or final year of a law degree, in the final year of a non-law degree, or have finished a law or non-law degree, the PGDL or SQE stages. The process runs from an online form through an assessment and video interview to a virtual assessment centre.
