Full job description
The Early Bird Scholarship is a three-year support programme for Year 13 students about to start a law or law-related degree at a UK university in autumn 2027. Scholars get one-to-one mentoring from a junior solicitor, workshops, 7,500 pounds paid in instalments over their studies, work experience in the London office, an automatic place on the Flying Start Programme and guidance on applying for vacation schemes and training contracts. Applicants must attend a UK state school or sixth form college, be the first generation in their immediate family to attend university, have five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Maths, be expected to get AAB at A-level, and meet at least one further widening-access criterion such as free school meals eligibility or time in care. Applications open on 6 April 2027 and close on 30 July 2027, reviewed on a rolling basis. No visa statement is given.
