Bevan Brittan runs two paid, two-week summer vacation schemes each year, with placements in each of its four offices (Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds and London) and hybrid working. Each student joins a single department for the whole placement, works on real client matters, prepares a client pitch and gets to network across the firm. The firm fills most of its training contract places from this scheme. It is open to penultimate and final-year law students, final-year non-law students, graduates and career changers; the firm expects ABB at A-level and a 2:1 but will consider strong commercial experience or mitigating circumstances. Applications are a single online form reviewed by the early talent team, and the page says the window reopens in autumn 2026 without giving exact dates (it does not state the year of the placement, so 2027 is inferred from the timing). The firm's FAQ says it holds a licence to sponsor skilled worker visas for successful candidates, subject to Home Office salary and skill rules.
