Full job description
A graduate trainee actuarial consultant role in the Retirement business, based in Guildford, for the September 2027 intake. Trainees work with actuarial and employer consulting teams on defined benefit pension schemes, doing actuarial calculations, validating valuation data, drafting client reports and advice, and joining client meetings, with support for corporate team work as well. Study support includes study leave, financial help and a study mentor for the actuarial exams. The stated salary is £32,000 to £34,000. No experience is needed, but applicants need at least a 2:1 degree, an A at A-Level or Higher Maths and a grade 6 in GCSE English Language (or equivalents), and may apply to only one trainee programme location for the 2027 intake.
