Why the Investing and Lending Summer Internship Programme? As an off-cycle analyst in Investing and Lending, you will be part of an international team spanning the UK, US, EMEA and APAC. You may learn: an understanding of Barclays' core relationship lending products for Investment Bank clients; end-to-end oversight of the transaction life cycle from origination and structuring to documentation and execution; core credit analysis skills; sustainability linked structuring; a holistic approach to commercial decision making. Investing and Lending at Barclays: is the centre of excellence for relationship lending across the Corporate and Investment Bank, responsible for product management, development, structuring and executing tailored lending solutions and portfolio management across the Investment Bank client set. Who we're looking for: You must be in your penultimate year of your degree, in any discipline. Able to work effectively both in a team and independently. Ideally commercially and client aware, with the ability to digest financial information and make informative suggestions. Purpose of the role: To participate in the day-to-day activities of the Investing and Lending division, providing insights and expertise that help more senior colleagues make informed decisions.
