As a summer analyst, you will enter a supportive, collaborative environment within the bank's fast-growing division, interacting with global clients, supporting deals, and learning from senior bankers. This programme covers financial modelling, credit skills, CIB products, and solutions, plus product sets like FX, DCM, and Barclaycard, mastering the end-to-end deal process, execution, and soft client management skills. Responsibilities encompass assisting with relationship loans, cash management RFPs, and trade finance facilities. International Corporate Banking at Barclays: fuses the power of the corporate and investment bank, anchoring relations with the world's most significant organisations by offering lending, trade finance, cash management, liquidity, digital banking, and hedging solutions. Who we're looking for: You must be in your penultimate year of your degree, in any discipline. Ideally with a keen interest in finance and business. Purpose of the role: To participate in the day-to-day activities within the International Corporate Banking division by providing transactional support that helps senior colleagues manage key client relationships. Accountabilities: Support the management of clients as a key member within the Relationship Team. Work alongside senior bankers to help identify and manage opportunities within Global Treasury Coverage. Preparation of meeting materials and researching sector-specific themes. Support the end-to-end deal process, including credit analysis, financial modelling, internal committees and documentation. Identify opportunities for new products and services.
