Successful applicants who are not eligible to receive a skilled worker visa, and who we are therefore unable to secure a skilled worker visa for, will be required to have their own legal right to work in the UK on a full-time basis from June 2027 to August 2027.

The programme imparts understanding of payment products' importance in Barclays' Corporate Banking offering, helping you understand how the bank innovates payment solutions for global companies, mastering end-to-end product management with risk controls, and gaining corporate product knowledge for a potential Corporate Banking career, while collaborating with key stakeholders including tech and service partners. Global Transaction Banking at Barclays: serves mid-sized corporates, large corporates, financial institutions, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), providing tailored solutions across the UK, Europe, AsiaPac and the US. The work touches every aspect of corporate and commercial banking, offering a unique perspective on global commerce. Who we're looking for: You must be in your penultimate year of your degree, in any discipline. Ideally with a keen interest in finance and business. The location for this role is indicated in the job title; if accepted into the graduate programme, your base location will be the same as during your internship. Working in London: If you love the buzz of city life, our global HQ is the place to be. Our London hub is in Canary Wharf, at the heart of London's financial district. Purpose of the role: To participate in the day-to-day activities of the transaction banking division, providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions. Accountabilities: Execution of small research projects, participating in the development of payment solutions for global companies as well as end-to-end product management with risk controls. Collaboration with cross-functional teams. Participation in training and development programs.
