Full job description
A 2-year rotational HR Graduate Programme at Barclays' Glasgow campus (the "Explorer" programme), structured as three eight-month rotations to build breadth across the HR function. Barclays describes the work as spanning recruiting talent, colleague experience, inclusion, reward, policy, data insights, and employee lifecycle activity, alongside job-based training and a dedicated talent coach from day one. Candidates need a strong degree (or one expected) completed before June 2027, a customer-first mindset, and comfort turning complex data into clear, compelling stories. Barclays states plainly that it cannot offer visa sponsorship for this programme, as the role does not currently meet UK Home Office eligibility requirements for Skilled Worker sponsorship - so you need the legal right to work full-time in the UK for the whole two years, from August 2027 to August 2029, without requiring sponsorship. The Glasgow campus is a purpose-built, collaborative space with hybrid working. Applications close 25 September 2026, though Barclays may close the role earlier if application volumes are high.
