The team: The EMEA Financial Sponsors Group covers 100+ financial sponsors owning more than c.2,000 portfolio companies across strategies including Traditional Buyouts, Growth Equity, Infrastructure Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds, from entry to exit. FSG is a generalist team enabling junior investment bankers to gain experience across all sectors and products (M&A, Leveraged Finance and ECM), developing a broad, highly technical skill set with significant modelling, live deal and client exposure. Programme Overview Our Off-cycle Analyst programme offers a broad and exciting experience of work within Investment Banking. Responsibilities: - Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product and country coverage groups - Help the team deliver solutions to clients by leveraging the full spectrum of the bank's capabilities - Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis - Build relationships, knowledge and experience opening doors to a wide range of future careers - Actively participate in executing transactions, working with clients and other advisors Eligibility Candidates must have already received or be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree. For candidates who have already graduated, the graduation date must be after January 2026. For candidates still pursuing a degree, completion must be before July 2027. On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent. Candidates must be available to join the programme from Monday 11th January for four months with an option to extend by 2 months; if offered full-time, must be available to join the graduate programme from July 2027. No deferred start dates. What we are looking for Essential: - Fluency in English is essential for all roles - Demonstrate drive, innovation, and a genuine interest in the financial markets - Teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills, plus creativity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and interact with a variety of people - Display analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as financial and commercial acumen - Influence decisions and outcomes through effective communication and interpersonal skills - Demonstrate integrity, honesty and professionalism Desired: - Additional European languages (Italian, German, French, Spanish and other)
